Who we are .....
About Us
We at AAR have been in the construction industry for over 20
years. Over the years, we've realized our customers shop not only for
price, but they also want solid workmanship and professional service. Our
workers are knowledgeable in all phases of roofing, take care of your
property with a detail oriented safety and clean up program, follow
OSHA/WISHA safety guidelines, and protect your home and landscape.
We typically give you a few basic choices to roof your home, which
include a 25 year, three-tab fiberglass composition shingle, a 30 year
high definition architectural shingle, and a lifetime architectural
shingle.
We use high quality underlayments only to ensure long life for your
new roof. Leak barrier (Ice & Water) and secondary roof deck protection
(fiberglass reinforced) are always utilized and installed per manufacturers
specifications.
Through these practices we offer the most extensive warranties available
in the industry.
Because most people roof their home once or twice a lifetime, here
is some basic information to help you choose AAR as the contractor
you trust.
AAR does not use high pressure sales tactics.
Our estimators and roofing consultants are thorough professional,
and sincere. You won't have any high-pressure sales calls urging you
to choose our company. We prefer to educate you as to the many benefits
of choosing AAR and let you make the right decision for yourself, your
home, and your family.
In keeping with our commitment to quality, AAR has established a strong
association with GAF - ELK Materials Corp., North America's largest
roofing manufacturer in business for over 120 years.
AAR specializes in installing GAF-ELK's Weather Stopper Roofing System
and because our work is strictly according to manufacturer's specifications,
we are able to offer extended warranties on the system, which has earned
the prestigious Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.
The Weather Stopper Roofing System is a carefully designed series
of roof layers that start from the bare wood and extend to the roof's
ridge. The patented system is composed of a leak barrier, roof deck
protection, high quality GAF-ELK shingles, effective attic ventilation,
and ridge cap shingles. The Weather Stopper System does a
great job to provide adequate ventilation to the building. Inadequate
ventilation can create moisture and rob a building of energy, while
leading to structured deterioration, premature paint peeling, and other
problems.
Highlights of the system include an added layer of leak protection
placed in the moist, vulnerable areas of the roof. This is a high quality roof
deck protector that guards against wind-driven rain and an oversize
8 inch drip edge.
Ensuring that the system is installed correctly, AAR has earned the
GAF-ELK Master Elite Certification, achieved by only 2% of roofing
contractors nationwide.
In addition all of AAR's workers are GAF-ELK certified which sets
them apart from run-of-the-mill laborers. To become GAF-ELK certified
the men must pass a difficult written test on roofing techniques and
materials, take seminars three time a year, and tour the GAF-ELK factory
to see how the shingles are made.
While GAF-ELK's standard warranty covers material defects for five
years, AAR's Master Elite Status extends all standard warranties and
includes availability of warranties that cover materials, labor, and
workmanship.
Your roof will be nailed, not stapled.
AAR uses 6 nails per shingle, a technique traditionally known as "storm
nailing". Whether local codes call for 4 or 6 nails per shingle,
6 nails will be used to fasten each shingle to give the best wind protection
possible.
Price is important but should never be used as the only factor in
making your decision. Quality of materials, professionalism, warranty,
workmanship, references, and manufacturer affiliation should also be
factors in guiding your decision.
We use only the highest quality materials and equipment and we don't
cut corners ensuring a top-quality project for you home.

of payment. We also have formed alliance with several lending institutions
to make financing options available.
